Sujavna 4:2

1230 hrs / Sunday 27 April 2014
Good morning and welcome to this second innings of Sujavna. As I had mentioned in my previous blog, the break was unplanned and as a result of some technology issues, which hopefully are now resolved.
So I am as keen to know about your own progress in the use of lateral thinking for ideation and resolution of commonly encountered challenges in today’s societies, as I am to place before you the evolution and progress of my own thoughts in this context.
Today, my curiosity has been kindled by the concept of impact entrepreneurship, and how this is evolving in countries such as India. As we all know the concept is not new – it has been known by other names, such as social entrepreneurship, but what is indeed new is that with such a change in nomenclature the inclusion of a wide gamut of entrepreneurial initiatives, the entrepreneurial processes and the outcomes, are now possible. A lot of material is there for the reader to check out, but I would like to leave just one thought behind – while social entrepreneurship is naturally linked to least developed, developing and emerging economies, impact entrepreneurship can equally be applicable to the most advanced economies and hence this can be a part of globalisation strategies for MNCs.
Hope you are having a great weekend.

Sujavna 4:1

Dear reader,

I had almost given up on my efforts to blog, as unresolved technical issues have hindered publishing since my last post 3:28 in July 2013. I hope that these are now resolved and I am able to publish all future posts.

Welcome back to Sujavna and Apologies for the long hiatus.
